Brazil population information updated from November 2017

A new version of Brazil’s population data is being published today.

The latest version, which will be published on Thursday, adds a new country category and also allows users to change the population’s name, gender and other characteristics.

Brazil’s population has fallen from 3.24 billion in 2016 to 2.88 billion in 2020, and it now stands at 3.27 billion.

The new population figures are due to be released at the end of September, with a preliminary estimate expected on October 2.

The population change will not affect Brazil’s growth, according to the World Bank, which forecasts that the country will overtake China in 2021.

The Brazilian population grew by 8.6% between 2016 and 2020, a rate of growth of 2.2% per annum.
