MTV News: ‘This is the first time I’ve been on the ground with these men’
MTV News has interviewed a number of men who claim they were subjected to sexual harassment and assault by former WWE wrestler Dean Ambrose.
The show, in which the stars talk about their experiences on the job, interviewed a total of 20 people, who ranged in age from 18 to 72.
Among them was John Kavanagh, who was 22 when he alleges he was sexually harassed by Ambrose in a hotel room.
“I went into that room, and he put his hand up my skirt and I told him no, and then he put the condom on and he walked away,” he said.
“And I thought, ‘What have I done?'”
Ambrose had previously been accused of sexual assault by a number other people.
The former WWE superstar was suspended for three months by the WWE in 2014.
Kavanagh claims Ambrose pushed him against the wall, grabbed his penis and attempted to have sex with him.
“I went back to the hotel room and he said, ‘Look, we’ll see what happens in the morning,'” he said of his return to the US.
“He was like, ‘I’ll have you in a bag’.”
Kavanah says that the alleged incident was only the start of his abuse.
“He was saying ‘fuck me’ to me, ‘get on the floor, bitch, get on the fucking floor’ and I was like ‘that’s not what you want to do’,” he said.
I didn- I was just so ashamed.” “
You know, I didn’t know what to do.
I didn- I was just so ashamed.”
Ambrose also allegedly forced himself on a woman who was pregnant at the time.
“Then he had his hand on my belly and he started trying to fuck me,” he told the show.
“So I pushed him away and told him to get away from me.”
In another incident, Kavanag says Ambrose put his hands on his crotch.
“It was just a really bad feeling,” he says.
“The first time it happened I felt so bad.
I just kept getting on the toilet.”
Kavanag also alleges that Ambrose was “bumping” him and grabbing his crotch when he was on the phone.
“So I was going to get out of there,” he added.MTV News has spoken to the women who have spoken to them.
“This is a really good interview.
They’ve told me the stories,” one said.”
It’s a really brave thing to do,” another added.
“They’ve given me a lot of support.
It was a real relief.”
One of the women told MTV News she had been sexually harassed before.
“A lot of times, they’re just men, they don’t know who to trust,” she said.
